Moms In Motion : Connecting Moms Through Fitness

Jamie Allison, a successful teacher, runner and triathlete, quickly learned how challenging it could be to balance personal goals with being a wife, a mother and a professional. Therefore, in 1999, Jamie founded Moms In Motion® to encourage women to carve out time for themselves by setting and achieving personal fitness & philanthropic goals all within in a supportive, fun and all-female environment.

Jamie also resurrected and directed the Santa Barbara Triathlon for three years, founded the UC Santa Barbara Triathlon Club, Founded the Intercollegiate National Triathlon Circuit, was the first to represent collegiate triathletes on the Triathlon Federation Board, was the ricipient of the 2004 Santa Barbara Triathlon Hall of Fame Award and the 2005 co-recipient of the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Hall of Fame Louise Lowry Davis Award for her contributions to women in sports.
