Moms In Motion : Connecting Moms Through Fitness

The next step for the Training for More team!

  I just found out about Moms in Motion at the Maine Marathon expo today, and  of course I joined as soon as I returned to my hotel room. Last year I put together an awesome group of 50 women to run or walk the More half-marathon in NYC. You've got to remember that we live in southwestern Vermont where the winters are cold and icy, and there aren't many people! We had so much fun that we've continued to train and compete together, and we're looking forward to the 2009 More half-marathon.

Our group of women is much more than a running club. We share each other's lives, both the triumphs and the disappointments. We're there for each other during difficult times, and we cheer each other on when we set a PR or attempt a new goal. I'll never cease to be amazed by this fantastic group of women who are now my friends.
